Do you believe that worry is on your side? Do you know how it is helping you? Do you know what it is / what it is really doing to you?

  • Going in for surgery – how does worry help you?
  • Just gave up at your job and you boss is mad at you – how does worry help you?
  • Thinking about what’s going on now and how it seems so much like the past – how does worry help you?
  • Forging into a new territory with career – how does worry help you?
  • Creating a new online dating profile – how does worry help you?

..I can think of a million bullshit reasons why “worry” pretends to be helping us. The only thing about worry that seems motivating is, that it is fucking annoying, and who the hell wants to be around something annoying?

Can you sense the bitterness in my tone. ..giggle.. maybe it’s all the swear words.

Let’s get honest for a moment. Worry isn’t helping you. It seems convincing. It may even seem natural. But it’s really just an out-dated / now-obsolete way of feeling that has tricked you into believing that it is a form of action. “as long as I’m worrying, at least I’m working something out in my head”… total crock of shit.

Worry is a pest and it’s time to take out that bottle of raid, spray it down and squash it into a bazillion pieces, ..grab a paper towel and toss it in the garbage. It belongs there with it’s buddies, “guilt”, “resentment”, “jealousy”, & it’s sister “shame”.

All of these are false. Lies. Trickery. Nonsense. And this is the moment where you look these bastards in the eye and laugh at them, take back what they stole from you. AKA: all the moments in your life where you knew you were ok, but those jerks wouldn’t leave your thinking alone.

How much energy in life has worry zapped from you? How much mental dexterity has been tripped up by this prankster? Time to take this ridiculous worry-costume off and show that sexy-birthday-suit-of-courage to every venture you partake in.

Worry is going to fuck you up every time if you let it in.
So I say, stand up for yourself! Know that it is a trick, and you are too bright to fall for it’s crap ever again. Rise up within yourself and kick this little worthless bastard to the curb.

  • Going in for surgery – how does courage help you?
  • Just gave up at your job and you boss is mad at you – how does courage help you?
  • Thinking about what’s going on now and how it seems so much like the past – how does courage help you?
  • Forging into a new territory with career – how does courage help you?
  • Creating a new online dating profile – how does courage help you?

It’s time to get real.
You are not to be tricked into thinking that worry is a need ever again.
For you are courage! And you can do anything!
